Selected Portraits 01
One of the biggest draws photography has for me; it’s the ability to stop time. The realization that the present is fleeting and acknowledgment that looking back at this precise moment in the future will be worthwhile. Documentary style comes to mind when I pause and think about my approach to shooting portraits. There is not a lot of planning involved, but a desire to capture the instance at hand.
This collection of images was shot with a Hasselblad 500C. I had to use a handheld light meter to adjust the exposure, a very slow process compared to the phone photography we are all used to now.
