Strange Freedom

The freedom that comes with being a stranger is very liberating.

China was one place that made me feel small in the right way, making me realize that the world is much more significant than my thoughts and tribulations than my struggles and insecurities. 

Watching these individuals play a game of Xiangqi, not caring about who I was and what I was doing there, brought me into a state of satisfaction. Life moves at its own pace, and I felt privileged to be there experiencing this moment.

This is the magic of traveling, and if you let yourself get lost, there is a great chance you will find a better self at the end.
